Michele, Certified Veterinary Technician
Michele is a Certified Veterinary Technician that joined Donegal Animal Hospital in November 2014. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician Program at YTI Career Institute in October of 2014. She is particularly interested in small animal medicine along with exotics. Michele enjoys all aspects of the profession primarily focusing on surgery and anesthesia.
Michele has two cats and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband.
Kira, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kira joined the DAH team in November 2015 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. She has been working in the field since May 2012. As her level of experience builds, Kira finds each day more rewarding than the last.
In her free time, Kira enjoys music, reading, and going to the beach, as well as playing tennis and basketball with her boyfriend. She has two cats, Tiny Tim and Dusk.
Dustin, Certified Veterinary Technician
Dustin joined the Donegal Animal Hospital team in July 2016 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. He has been working in the veterinary field for a little over 13 years and prior to starting at Donegal Animal Hospital, he worked at Pet Emergency Treatment Services for 9.5 years.
Dustin earned his Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology and Certification from San Juan College in 2012, along with his Bachelors Degree in Biology from Millersville University in 2015.
He was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he currently lives with his wife, two cats ( Mr. O'Malley and Izzy) and a German Shepherd (Lexi). In his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Amanda, Certified Veterinary Technician
Amanda graduated from York Technical Institute's Veterinary Technician program in 2015. She joined Donegal Animal Hospital in August 2016. She loves all of her duties as a technician but has a special interest in laboratory work. Amanda enjoys painting, reading and spending time outside. She has one dog, four cats, and a snake.
Jessica, Certified Veterinary Assistant
Jessica graduate from high school in 2009 and earned her Veterinary Assistant certificate from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center (LCCTC) in 2010. During her schooling at LCCTC, she completed her volunteer and clinic hours at Donegal Animal Hospital, learning and experiencing a lot during those times.
She enjoys working with and helping dogs and cats. She is owned by 5 dogs, 2 cats 2 rabbits, a bird and a few fish. Jessica is a native of Mount Joy.
Taylor, Certified Veterinary Assistant
Taylor graduated from Elizabethtown Area High School and the Veterinary Assistant Program at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in 2012. She joined the Donegal Animal Hospital staff in 2012 after completing her internship with us.
Taylor enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her horse and her cat. She also enjoys photography and outdoor activities.
Shannon, Veterinary Assistant
Shannon started her career as a Veterinary Assistant at Donegal Animal Hospital in July 2016.
Shannon is a lifetime resident of Mount Joy and she graduated from Donegal High School in 2008. She enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, 2 boys, 2 dogs, Lily and Edik, and 1 cat, Tanto.
Her family loves to stay active and enjoys a variety of outdoor adventures. She also enjoys painting, gardening, and volunteering with Lancaster County Sheriff's Office K-9 Unit.
Jennie, Veterinary Asistant
Jennie joined the Donegal Animal Hospital Team in October 2016. She has worked in the veterinary field since 2009. A Donegal High School graduate, she is a lifelong resident of the Mount Joy area.
Jennie is excited to be a part of our front-desk team. She welcomes the opportunity to be of assistance to the many familiar faces and is looking forward to meeting many new fur babies and their families.
Jennie enjoys reading, music, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is mom to a Jack Russell Terrier named Emma and grandmom to a Lab mix named Buka.
Jessica, Veterinary Assistant
Jessica started early on working in a local boarding facility and doggie daycare. Later moving on to training service dogs. Currently she is the Executive Direction of Veteran Service Canines Inc. A local non-profit organization who provides emotional PTSD, TBI support and physical support canines to service connected veterans, law enforcement and first responders free of charge. She grew up around Elizabethtown
Jessica has a lab named Sage, two cats named Quigley and George and one foster dog. She enjoys the outdoors with her fiancé, close friends and volunteering with the Vietnam Veterans of America.
